New logistics zone of Southern Finland

The Lahti Southern Ring Road on main road 12 opened for traffic in late 2020. It significantly improves transverse traffic in Finland and connects the Lahti region more closely to the Helsinki metropolitan area.

The Lahti Southern Ring Road is a new avenue for the growth of businesses and the region. The business areas situated along the Lahti Southern Ring Road cover a total area of 570 hectares, making the area one of the most significant logistics zones in Finland.

Location matters

The Lahti region is a growing and cost-efficient business environment next to the Helsinki metropolitan area. Its location by a railroad and highways guarantees that businesses have smooth transport connections throughout Finland and a gate to the international market.

If you board a train in Helsinki, you will reach Lahti in less than an hour. Additionally, the location of Lahti near great transport connections facilitates smooth commuter traffic across a wider area. Lahti is easy to reach – it is easier to get to Helsinki Airport from Lahti than through the traffic congestion in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
