RELOCATE TO JOKIMAA

The Southern Jokimaa business area (Syväoja) is situated along great transport connections in the southern part of Lahti, along Helsingintie and near the Lahti Southern Ring Road on main road 12.

The Southern Jokimaa area is just over a 5-minute drive away from the junction of the new Lahti Southern Ring Road, which provides excellent connections in the east-west direction. The drive to the junction of the Lahti–Helsinki highway takes about 10 minutes.

The area has a little over 10 hectares of space available for new businesses, and plans are underway to expand the area west of Helsingintie within two to three years.

The business area is home to businesses such as Fazer’s gluten-free bakery, BussiPro, Pro Audio Finland, HiFix and Lahden lomarakenne.

Lahti

Lahti is a city with a population of more than 120,000 and the centre of an economic area with more than 200,000 residents. Thanks to LUT University changing its official name to Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology in 2019, Lahti is also Finland’s youngest university city.

Lahti has the most diverse industrial structure among Finland’s major cities and is home to many inter­na­tionally well-known business brands, such as Fazer Mills and Bakery; the Hartwall beverage factory; Raute, which manufactures equipment for the forest-based industries; Makron, a manufacturer of industrial automation solutions; Stalatube, which supplies stainless steel structures; and Kempower, which manufactures electric vehicle charging equipment.
